Dr Ruhina Prasad is an accomplished Researcher in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences as an English faculty member with experience in education and research. Currently serving as a Research cum Teaching Fellow at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology (MMMUT), Gorakhpur, she specialises in Indian Writing in English, focusing on Dalit feminist studies. Her work bridges literature, gender studies, and social justice, advocating for marginalised voices through critical academic inquiry and teaching.

Ruhina Prasad completed her Master of Arts in English from a reputed open university, following her Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English Literature. She is currently pursuing her doctoral studies with a specialised focus on Indian Writing in English, particularly the intersections of Dalit feminism and literature. Alongside her literary education, she has earned a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) and completed Montessori Teacher Training, reflecting her commitment to diverse pedagogical approaches.

Her research interests are deeply rooted in the study of Indian Writing in English, particularly narratives within Dalit feminist discourse. She explores themes of gender equity, social justice, and the representation of marginalised identities, including those with disabilities, in literature and society. Ruhina’s work often employs interdisciplinary frameworks, combining literary analysis with feminist theory, postcolonial studies, and digital humanities to address contemporary socio-political issues.

With over two decades of teaching experience, Ruhina Prasad has a broad spectrum of experience, ranging from foundational education in primary and secondary schools to advanced academic roles in higher education. Currently at MMMUT, she teaches Communication Skills, Professional Writing, and Gender Studies. She is also actively involved in curriculum development, mentoring students, and leading research projects. Previously, she served as an English faculty member at reputable educational institutions, enriching students’ learning through innovative and inclusive pedagogies.

Since 2023, Ruhina has demonstrated an active and evolving research trajectory. She has published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on gender studies and Indian literature. She frequently presents at national and international conferences, contributing original research on Dalit feminism and feminist critiques of technology. Her participation in workshops, seminars, and training sessions on academic writing, digital humanities, and gender-inclusive education highlights her commitment to continuous professional development and knowledge sharing.

Ruhina Prasad’s scholarly contributions have been recognised through several prestigious awards and certifications. Notably, she won the National Research Paper Writing Competition (VIVIBHA) and received accolades for outstanding presentations at academic conferences. She has also earned certifications from elite platforms such as Elsevier Research Academy, NPTEL, and SWAYAM in areas including research ethics, academic publishing, and gender studies, underscoring her dedication to excellence in both research and pedagogy.

Dr Sudhir Narayan Singh

Dr Sudhir Narayan Singh received his graduation, postgraduation and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in English Literature from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. As a teacher, he dedicatedly served at various colleges and institutes in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab.  Presently, he is working as an Associate Professor & Head, Humanities and Management Science Department at Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur, UP, India. He has attended 30 National and International seminars and conferences. He presented thirty-two papers in them. He chaired technical sessions in the International Conference on Role and Responsibilities of Humanities and Social Sciences in Technical Education at SRM University, NCR Campus, Modinar, Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and in the 56th All India English Teachers' Conference at Bareilly College, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh. He supervised three M. Phil. students and guided one PhD student. Four students are working on their Doctoral thesis under his supervision. He is creatively involved in composing poems and contributing to the English and Hindi languages. Since the author was born and brought up on the banks of the River Ganges, water bodies and Nature have a lasting impact on his psyche and play major roles in his life and works. Hills, rivers, waves and water appear as living personas in his poems, and very often it seems that the poet is receiving inspiration or having a talk with them. Some of his poems appeared in reputed journals (both, 'on line' and 'print') like Poets International, (www.poetsinternational.com), Rock Pebbles (www.rockpebbles.com); and also in anthologies Poets' Paradise, The Fancy Realm and The Melodies of Immortality. He has presented a number of papers in national and international seminars and conferences, and almost a dozen of them have been published. The book chapters authored by him are widely published by Indian publishers such as Authors Press, Global Vision Publishing House, Alfa Publications, and Atlantic Publications, as well as by foreign publishers such as Lambert Academic Publishing in Berlin, Germany.
